Tripaneer — Themed travel, the Tripaneer way.
Tripaneer is a startup company comprised of travel experts who love - and live - their work. The Tripaneer platform enables trip organisers to make their activities bookable on-demand and visitors can easily find, compare, and book unique travel experiences anywhere in the world.
The brief
Tripaneer is growing fast. Scaling a business and maintaining good user experience practices is hard. With enough data at hand to draw meaningful conclusions, Tripaneer asked me to help with their 2018 online redesign.
Approach
Each project needs a customized approach, considering the scope and unique needs of an organization. Where I often start a project by focussing on user research and when needed, a strategic planning first, I instead immediately started with UI components and templates.
Set out to translate Tripaneer’s mission “to enrich lives through travel” into an online impression, I started with the design of informative pages and sitting down with the founder to understand Tripaneer’s aim.
With the great help of Tripaneer's user insights, I focused on the overall design and micro conversions in a fast-paced process, focusing on problems, design solutions and opportunities.
